Abstract : Communication is a relative term with different meanings and roles in varied contexts. The stability of its meaning depends upon langauge through which communication strtegies operate at the most popular level. The fact that the history of world languages is enmeshed in the dynamics of cultural processes across the globe, endows both language and communication an ontological position in the system of knowledge. The present paper is an attempt to locate and indentify the nature of ideological presuures on the overall character of language in relation to human subject, power, literature and self expression. The post-industrial society is the exact historical context demanding a close study of the debates around it. |

Abstract : Philosophy of Gandhiji- Divine Origin – Truth and Non- violence;- Like all other great educators, Mahatma Gandhi was also a philosopher to start with and he evolved an educational system as a dynamic side of his philosophy. Gandhiji believed that individual has a divine origin and has a divine destiny. His aim, therefore, must be spiritual and not material. Therefore, he can work out his perfection in a spiritual society only. A spiritual society as opposed to materialistic society is based on certain principles. |

Abstract : Financial sector reforms started in the early 1990 in India, which triggered various structural changes in the Indian banking system in last two decades. Several prudential accounting norms, mainly based on the Non-Performing Assets (NPA) have been introduced by Reserve Bank of India. Therefore, to improve the financial health and efficiency, NPA management has become a main objective of the banks. In this background, present study focuses on the problem of NPA in the Indian banking industry. The study is based on the secondary data, which is gathered from various issues of 'Report on Trend and Progress of Banking in India'. The study focuses on the comparative analysis of NPAs within the Scheduled Commercial Banks in India. The NPAs have been analysed for the period of sixteen (16) years i.e. from 1997-2012. The data has been analyzed by statistical tools such as percentages and Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). The trend values have been calculated with the help of 'least square method' of 'time series analysis'. The study observed improvement in the asset quality of SCBs till 2010-2011and categorically noticed sudden change in the asset quality in the year 2011-12. |

Abstract : The object of law, inter alia, is to regulate the external behavior of human beings. The rights, powers and privileges conferred upon a person should be exercised in such a way that it should not encroach the rights of others. Conduct of a human being should not infringe the legal parameters. Law takes cognizance of every conduct of a human being which results in injury to others. Such infraction attracts liability which may be either civil or criminal or both. Sexual conduct of an individual is not an exception to this. In this article an attempt is made to analyses the liability and legal issues involved in perverted sexual behavior, unnatural sexual intercourse, sexual assault and certain objectionable acts which are declared as illegal as having a bearing on the sexual conduct of an individual. |
